Healthy Desserts with Bulgarian Yogurt
Now let’s see what we can cook with this delicious goodness! Remember that real homemade yogurt without any artificial substances can last in the fridge for a few days. So, here I will share with you some delicious healthy desserts with Bulgarian yogurt that will boost your immune system and recover your gut flora!
Let’s dig in!
Sugar-free Panna cotta with Bulgarian yogurt
1 1/2 cup Milk of choice
8-10 Tbsps. Honey (or maple syrup, agave syrup, etc.)
1 cup Bulgarian yogurt
4 tsps. Gelatin
Some Homemade jam (without white sugar)
Mix the gelatin with some pure lukewarm water. Stir and wait for it to bulge up.
In the meantime, heat the milk to body temperature and add the honey. Stir well to melt the bee product. Remember – if the liquid is hotter than body temperature, it will destroy the healthy ingredients in the honey!
Next, take the milk off the heat and mix it with the gelatin. Let the mixture cool down completely.
When the mixture is fully blended, transfer it to small dessert cups and place them in the fridge for the panna cotta to stiffen.
Before serving, turn the cups upside down to release the dessert and garnish with some homemade jam!

The next delicious temptation in my healthy desserts suggestion list is:
1 cup Bulgarian yogurt (preferably goat or buffalo)
4 Tbsps. Homemade jam (without white sugar)
A fistful of Fresh berries – blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, etc.
Some Raisins (not treated with sugar) – optional
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2-3 tsps. Gelatin
Cover the gelatin with some lukewarm water to bulge up.
Next, heat it in a double boiler until it melts and becomes transparent. Leave it aside to cool down.
Mix the yogurt with the jam and the cinnamon, and blend them well. When the temperature of the gelatin is close to the yogurt’s, add it to the dairy mixture.
Stir well to blend the ingredients.
Next, place some of the berries and the raisins (if desired) in several dessert cups.
Cover the fruits with the yogurt and place the cups in the fridge for a couple of hours to stiffen.
And the last of our healthy desserts is:
