Keto Recipes Using Tahini (Keto Nut Butter Recipes)
I simply love tahini! I use it a lot of my recipes because it is healthy, nutritious, vegan, satisfies the hunger with the magic of healthy fats, and soothes the sugar cravings!
And the best thing is – it is a keto-friendly food with which you can treat yourself whenever you are in a hurry!
So, today I will share a couple of my favorite low carb recipes using tahini and this post will be updated with new additions whenever I have a brand new low carb tahini recipe on the blog. Subscribe to the newsletter and you will be the first to get them! 😉
But before we continue to the food suggestions, I need to make a quick clarification. As I understand, in the Western world the word “tahini” is usually a substitute for sesame tahini or sesame butter – ground sesame seeds with our without added oil.
Here in Bulgaria, we use the word “tahini” for every kind of seed or nut butter – ground seeds or nuts with or without added oil. And of course we also include one type of legumes – peanuts. I know there is a discussion in the keto world whether unsweetened peanut butter is keto friendly or not (it contains about 17 grams of net carbs per 100 grams). But since I am not a fan of the extreme version of this diet, I sometimes include peanut tahini in my menu. And I know many other fans of the low carb diet plan do as well.

Keto Bread with Sesame Tahini
This is one of my most popular recipes on the blog and for a reason! This easy low carb bread recipe (or as my friends from Turkey would say a “keto sesame tahini ekmek”) is very easy to make and super nutritious! Keep in mind that sesame seeds can leave a bit of a bitter after taste, so feel free to substitute with sunflower seed tahini, if you wish! Also, you can add different spices and garnish with some seeds (flax seeds, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, etc.) to make keto tahini recipe even tastier!

No Cook Keto Tahini Dessert Recipe (Vegan)
I named this keto vegan halvah since the texture reminded me of this sweet Turkish dessert but minus the carbs!
If you are looking for something very quick and easy to make or a tasty kid-friendly activity, this low carb tahini dessert is for you! You just mix the ingredients; pour into a cake mold (or several smaller muffin molds), and the low carb halvah is ready! The beauty of this recipe is that you can tweak it as much as you like! You can make it even closer to the original recipe by using sunflower seed tahini and some nuts of choice! I will be delighted to see your variations!

Low Carb Easter Bread with Eggs
I called this recipe Easter bread since the lemon zest I put in the pastry reminded me of this sweet festive dessert. But feel to make it anytime you wish – the ingredients are common and available in any season! This is one of my most favorite recipes using hazelnut butter since it reminds me of my beloved hazelnut chocolate spread. But you can always make this keto recipe with almond butter or any other nut butter you prefer!
