Low Carb Pizza Recipe (Gluten Free Pizza Recipe)
Pizza is one of the most beloved Italian cuisine specialties that almost every person on Earth adores! And I am not an exception!
Unfortunately, it is also one of the most common food cravings responsible for breaking our weight loss regime or a healthy lifestyle. Because let’s face it – although this is an extremely tantalizing Italian dish, it has become a fast food staple packed with gluten, a lot of carbs, and extra calories!
So, today, I will be sharing my variation in attempt to make it a bit healthier – a keto pizza crust recipe with low carb friendly topping which will be suitable for people with gluten intolerance or those following a LCHF diet plan for health or weight loss reasons!

How to make this keto pizza?
There are a lot of keto pizza variations and here I will show you my favorite one so far.
Of course, the most important thing is the recipe for the low carb pizza dough since it is usually the part which includes the wheat, the gluten protein, most of the carbs, and calories in a regular pizza.
So, our recipe for gluten free pizza crust will consist of mozzarella cheese, sesame flour, and eggs.
Please note that we will be using low moisture whole milk regular mozzarella, not the fresh type you would usually use for a Caprese salad. If you can find a shredded version – even better – it will save you some prep time. You can also use any other type of yellow cheese of choice and decide which taste feels best. I have tried the Bulgarian yellow cheese (kashkaval) and the result was pretty good!
As for the sesame flour, I recommend using a full fat version since, well, this is a LCHF recipe! If you do not like the taste of this gluten free flour substitute, you can use any other keto friendly flour – almond flour, coconut flour, flax seed flour, pumpkin seed flour, etc.

Back to the keto pizza! The topping is totally up to you!
I have used sugar-free tomato paste, some salami, a green bell pepper, and some more grated cheese!
Feel free to use whatever products you wish depending on your preferences and nutritional plan you follow!
Can this keto pizza crust be frozen?
Honestly, I haven’t tried, but it is a good idea to make an attempt to prepare a batch of these low carb pizza crusts and freeze them for later. This way I will always have something yummy I can make quickly when I am in a pinch!
