Past lives are a truly intriguing topic in general, but also from an astrological point of view!
Can you learn about your past incarnations using your birth chart?
I would say “Absolutely!”
Actually, I think our whole natal chart is karmic – it is not a coincidence that we were born at a specific time, date, and place! It is predetermined, so that it reflects our soul’s path so far, and the lessons we are yet to learn.
So, you could say that we can analyze our horoscope through the perspective of the karma we have accumulated through the life experiences of previous incarnations!
That is why today I wish to share with you a couple of books that can help you decode your birth chart and find out who you were in your past lives, and what you are here to do in your current one.
This is the branch of Astrology called Karmic or Esoteric and here is a book series that is probably one of the best on the topic!
My favorite Astrology books on past lives is the Karmic Astrology series by Martin Schulman!
There are a few installments of this series, and each one focuses on one major area of the birth chart!
Volume 1 mainly targets the Lunar Nodes. Many astrologers believe that these are some of the most important significators of our past lives and the lessons we are here to learn, as well as the unhealthy behavioral patterns to unlearn!
You will find about their meaning depending on their placement by sign and house, but also – their aspects with other major planets in the chart!
Volume 2 is extremely interesting since it focuses on retrograde planets and their interpretation through the lenses of our past lives.
It is believed that having retrograde planets in the natal chart may be a powerful sign of a pivotal incarnation since they often signify old unlearned lessons revisited or old traumas unhealed and unresolved.
Volume 3 is also a must-have since it uncovers the secrets of a very peculiar point in the chart (just like the Lunar Nodes, it is not a planet!) – the Part of Fortune, Lot of Fortune or also called Locus Fortuna.
It is an Arabic part that has a deep esoteric meaning regarding accumulated positive karma in the form of luck, good fortune, and success.
