Tenth House in Capricorn (10th House Capricorn)
Today we continue our astrological tenth house journey through the zodiac. After dissecting the specifics of the Sagittarius placement, it is time to learn more about Capricorn as a career house. But first, let’s dive into the positive and negative traits of the last Earth sign in astrology!
Characteristics of the Capricorn sign
The typical Capricorn is probably the most serious, ambitious, and disciplined sign of all! They are reliable, driven, responsible, practical, and trustworthy. “The mountain goat” of the zodiac usually behaves like an adult even from an early age and loosens up throughout the second part of their life (usually after 34).
On the negative side, Capricorns can be too dark, inclined towards depression and self-pity. It is common for them to have difficult childhoods (often having to take care of their siblings or parents) and to grow up faster than their peers. This is the way Saturn teaches and hardens them to be better prepared for adulthood. And the hurdles do pay off since Capricorns usually have it easier in later years.

What does Capricorn Midheaven mean?
Capricorn in 10th house natal (also called Medium Coeli Capricorn or MC Capricorn for short) is a wonderful placement to have since Capricorn is the natural ruler of the tenth house in astrology!
The options for Midheaven in Capricorn careers are endless because the 10th astrological sign gives you success in every vocation you choose. The only requirement is to apply all the strengths of “the mountain goat” – tenacity, ambition, discipline, and the ability to take responsibility for one’s actions. These qualities beat talent every single time!
And since people with Capricorn on their tenth house cusp are naturally driven towards their goals (and Capricorn being a cardinal sign), they will be good at being in a job position where leadership is required – managers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, company owners, etc. It is in their blood to strive to climb the ladder of their career and social status. Just remember to have more fun and do not forget your family and close ones in the process! Balancing your personal and professional lives might be a tough job!
And one last thing! Since Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and Saturn is a slow moving planet which gives us lots of hard lessons (especially in the first part of our lives), the true career success you desire might come after Saturn’s first return (around 34). So, do not beat yourself up or go into depressive and frustrating states of mind if you are not moving fast enough. Learn to relax and move forward at your pace!
