Let’s say you’re looking at your birth chart and you find the Midheaven cusp pointing at the zodiac sign Taurus. What does that mean? Let’s take a look! If you don’t know how to find your Midheaven, first check out this article!
Basic Traits of Taurus
I know that all zodiac signs are equal – there are no superior or inferior signs, no good or bad. But Taurus is one of my personal favorites! A typical Taurus is nice and gentle. Actually, I can’t think of a single “calf” in my life being harsh or rude! They are worthy representatives of their ruling planet –
Venus! They love comfort, security, and beauty in all of its forms.
Even in adverse conditions, they always strive to make their surroundings look and feel more pleasant. They are usually hard-working. Taurus’ element is Earth, which means they are very grounded, realistic and practical. They know that if you want to make something happen, you need to put some effort in it. They move ahead slowly but steadily. Their inner power and strength should not be underestimated – even the shyest of them is more capable than meets the eye. Of course, every sign has its own soft spots and negative sides. The biggest one for Taurus is their enormous stubbornness! Most of them don’t like change – especially changing themselves. They often find difficult accepting new ideas – not because they can’t, but because they are stubborn! 😀 So, just to recap, here are some of the basic positive/negative traits of the second zodiac sign – persistent, patient, self-indulgent, possessive, materialistic, grounded, and dependable.
Midheaven in Taurus
What it would mean to have such astrological aspect? Applying the basic characteristic of the second sign to the field of career and social status, we may come to following conclusions. People with Tenth House in Taurus tend to focus their efforts in creating material gains. They usually have stable jobs and always strive to improve their social and financial status. They will work persistently and patiently to achieve their goals. If you have the tendency to develop the negative side of this sign – laziness, procrastination, and stubbornness may be huge blocks towards your success. Work on that, but keep a healthy balance between work and leisure. Be prepared for the long run – Taurus signifies slow and steady progress – like erecting a building with solid foundation.
Possible career fields might be anything connected to Earth or beauty – agriculture, gardening, landscaping, building, fashion, modeling, cooking, design (interior/exterior/IT), physiotherapy, etc. Taurus is connected to all of our physical senses, so a possible work field that can stimulate those might be appropriate.
As I always say – follow your heart and intuition.
